| The
compact easy-to-use SP-8001 for measurement at wavelength range
190-1100nm is a highly versatile split-beam UV-Vis Spectrophotometer
that provides performance features found in many other more
expensive instruments. On-board application modes include photometric,
spectrum, time scan, kinetic, and quantitative as standard.
Optional programme packs to expand instrument functions including
quick and easy quantification of DNA, proteins, etc can also
be available upon request. The membrane keyboard plus a large
backlit 320x240 LCD screen provides user-friendly interface
for data entry and display of full information of measurement
and test result. RS232C and centronics interfaces for data output
are equipped as standard. A
PC model in same specifications as of sp-8001 except being
driven by computer will be available .

- Photometric
mode
is a simple measurement mode of Absorbance (ABS) or Transmittance
(%T) at fixed single or multiple wavelengths.

- Spectrum
mode provides spectral measurement at user-defined wavelength
range (between 200nm and 1000nm, low & high limits of
measurement result, and scanning speed (at 100-5000nm/min)
. The measured spectra can be saved ,zoomed, tracked ,and
picked of peaks and valleys for various data manipulation.

Scan mode
is to perform scanning of a sample at a fixed wavelength
for user-defined time. Functions as to save, to zoom, to
track, and to search peaks and valleys of the measured spectra
as also featured.

- Kinetic
mode
provides application software for measurement of enzyme
activity at fixed wavelength. Optional temperature control
is available upon request.

- Quantitative
mode
measures and determines the concentration of an unknown
sample at a specific wavelength with calibration curve created
form standards.

incorporates a universal sample compartment that accommodates
a complete line of accessories - single cell holder, single
cell holder adapted for water circulation temperature control
unit (optional) , 6-cell holder (optional) , flow-cell assembly
(optional) , etc. Sample compartment versatile 10-100mm
pathlength cuvette and 10-25mm diameter test tube. Change
of cell chamber is quick and simple.
